The internet has become a part of our everyday life, but for Parents and Carers this has opened up a whole new world of things to worry about. Therefore understanding and implementing the safe use of the internet both at school and home is crucial. At Thornaby Church of England we take E-Safety very seriously.

This page will provide you with tips and advice regarding E-Safety.

Advice

– Always keep your computer in a shared space.

– Talk to your child about what they are doing online.

– Talk to your child about being safe on the internet.

– Facebook, Bebo and other sites like these have a minimum age of 13, so our children should not be accessing these sites.

Safer Internet Day 2018

Safer Internet Day 2018 was celebrated globally on Tuesday 6th February 2018 with the slogan “Create, Connect and Share Respect: A better internet starts with you”.

More than a thousand organisations across the UK got involved to help inspire a national conversation about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively.
